Dr. Nicole Dikshteyn, BVMS
Nicole was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where her passion for animals began at an early age. As a child, she was often found caring for fallen birds and rescuing stray kittens, instinctively drawn to helping animals in need. Her early fascination with wildlife and commitment to conservation, combined with a strong interest in medicine, made it clear that veterinary medicine was her calling.Nicole went on to attend Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. Outside the classroom, she volunteered at local cat shelters, gaining hands-on experience and deepening her dedication to animal welfare.
She later moved to Scotland to pursue her veterinary degree at the University of Glasgow. There, she expanded her clinical skills by working with a wide range of animals—domestic, exotic, and wild—and cultivated a particular love for bird-watching during her free time.
Today, Nicole's professional interests include preventative medicine, surgery, and conservation. In her free-time you can find Nicole attending concerts, exploring local nature reserves, or hanging out with her rabbit and cats.
