Dr. Caroline Anderson (she/her), DVM, USDA Accredited
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Caroline knew she was destined to be a veterinarian from a young age and was always surrounded with animals, including many family pets, and attended and volunteered at many camps at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. Caroline attended Ohio Wesleyan University and while there, volunteered at a wildlife center with opossums, crows, turtles, and flying squirrels on the weekends. She graduated in 2017 with a major in Pre-Professional Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. She started her veterinary journey at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her DVM degree in 2021. Caroline is a Category 2 USDA accredited veterinarian and her professional interests include dentistry, feline medicine, and preventative medicine.When not in scrubs, Caroline enjoys cooking new recipes and trying new restaurants, swimming, exploring museums, and wine tasting. She loves to travel and can speak conversational French and just a little bit of Italian. She has a Chihuahua mix named Whopper Jr. and two cats, Gus and Oliver.
