Dr. Cindy Zhang (she/her), DVM, USDA Accredited

Cindy was surrounded by animals from a young age. Her mother was a professor and researcher specializing in vaccine development for farm animals. Her experience volunteering at the Ohio Wildlife Center in high school and college led to an interest in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. Cindy graduated from The Ohio State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She took a gap year working as a veterinary assistant in New York City where she deepened her knowledge and experience. She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 with special interests in small animals, exotics, dentistry, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Cindy is a USDA Category 1 accredited veterinarian.

In her spare time, she is an avid K-Pop dancer who performs with a dance troupe who maintains their own YouTube channel. She also enjoys spending time with her Chiweenie mix, Jasper, and her dwarf bunny, Marble. You can find her ice skating in various NYC parks in the winter. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin; and also proficient in Korean, which she studied in college.
