Dr. Jonathan Stone (he/him), DVM, USDA Accredited

Dr. Jonathon “JJ” Stone hails from the Midwest where he grew up in a small town outside of Madison, Wisconsin. Intending to pursue a career in medicine and research, JJ earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), in Rochester, New York.

After graduating, JJ went after a career in human organ donation, serving as the Director of Processing & Surgeon Relations at the Sight Society of Northeastern, New York. However, it was at this time that his love for animals and research brought him back to veterinary medicine, and he then went back to school to receive his veterinary degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.

JJ stayed in Boston to complete additional training, continue his research studying infectious disease and pathology, and he has been practicing general medicine at another veterinary clinic in Newton, Massachusetts.

Outside of work, JJ enjoys exploring the great outdoors, and being in nature. One day, maybe ten years from now…he hopes to have a small cow herd.
