Dr. Joseph Tsang (he/him), DVM

Dr. Joseph Tsang was born in Hong Kong and raised in New York City. He surrounded himself with animals from a young age, from imprinted ducklings and chicks, to the stray neighborhood dogs and cats of Hong Kong.

Joseph attended SUNY Binghamton and gained an undergraduate degree in Biology. He then worked as a veterinary assistant at Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group for a couple of years, before pursuing his veterinary degree at Ross University in St. Kitts. He completed his clinical studies at the University of Florida and completed a rotating internship in Pittsburgh, as well as a surgery internship in Philadelphia. He returned to New York City and worked in a small animal private practice in Brooklyn for 3 years before transitioning to a senior veterinarian role in Long Island and Queens where he helped open new veterinary clinics and, ultimately, acted as medical director for five years.

Joseph has a particular interest in surgical and dental procedures, especially reconstructive surgery and surgical oncology.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys traveling, swimming, hiking, and board games. You can find him exploring NYC with his French Bulldog, Brisket, and Australian Cattle dog, Milo.
