Dr. Momo Tanaka is a dedicated veterinarian with a deep-rooted passion for animal care and healthcare leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in genetics, as well as her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, from North Carolina State University. Dr. Tanaka then completed a comprehensive small animal rotating internship in Connecticut before establishing her clinical career in New York.
With extensive experience spanning general practice and urgent care, Dr. Tanaka's clinical interests include dermatology, chronic disease management, and pain management. In 2026, she earned an Executive MBA in Healthcare from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, equipping her to seamlessly integrate clinical excellence with progressive healthcare management. She is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with her patients' families and strives to deliver the highest standard of personalized care to every animal she treats.
Dr. Tanaka is committed to medical excellence and the rewarding process of getting to know the unique needs of both her patients and their owners. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her two rescue cats, Sappho and Meatball.
